When Popo was old enough to ‘need’ some shoes on her feet, I became really interested in those Robeez soft soled shoes. Those were the only ones I had ever seen in the soft soled style, so I looked for a deal on Ebay because I couldn’t justify spending that kind of money on a pair of baby shoes that would last 6 months, if I was lucky.
When she was ready for the next size, I found some (a different kind of no-name brand) that were selling for $9.99 at BJ’s and I picked up 2 more for her. When she became a ‘real’ walker I broke down and took her to the shoe store for some ‘real walkers’ and she was not too thrilled to have them on her feet.
Now, with The Baby (who is now almost 15 months), I still can’t bring myself to put hard soles on her little piggies. I don’t know what it is, but she just either has the soft soles on, or she goes barefoot.
This morning I was poking around blog land and stumbled upon Kitchen Stewardship and found some interesting posts. When I clicked on ‘home’ I was delighted to see, right at the top, this post about a Bugaloo shoe giveaway! After poking around on the Bugaloo site, I can soundly say that I have found a new love! I definitely have to have the Francis style!
